WITTCHEN Awarded Second Place in the “Koszyk Roku 2018” Survey

Unity Group has been working with the WITTCHEN brand on improving User Experience for more than four years. WITTCHEN is among the winners in a report published by Twisto and EDISONDA, which presents a detailed survey of Poland’s 100 largest online stores. The achievements of our customers are a measure of our expertise, so we are proud to have contributed to WITTCHEN’s success.


Unity Group’s business relationship with WITTCHEN

At the end of February / beginning of March 2018, in collaboration with Ideacto, we redesigned WITTCHEN’s online store, significantly optimizing the website in terms of Responsive Web Design and graphic templates.

The implementation of the new version of the online store improved its usability, which was confirmed by the second place awarded to WITTCHEN in the “Basket of the Year” survey. Thanks to the solutions introduced by Unity Group, the performance of the store’s app has improved, including website loading time and optimized display on mobile devices and computers.

Report design and analysis process

The report consists of two parts. Its main element is an analysis of the purchasing process in online stores and an identification of the key mechanisms required during online store creation. Twisto’s team has analyzed more than 100 parameters of each of the 100 selected online stores.

The second part of the study focuses on the emotions of online buyers in individual stores. Based on 250 tests conducted among 50 consumers, EDISONDA has compiled a list of factors affecting the attractiveness of an online store.

Summary of results

The results of the survey show that the graphic design of the WITTCHEN website was indicated most often by respondents as their favorite one. The store achieved high scores for the transparency of the buying process and order handling. The functionality and intuitiveness of forms in the store received positive feedback. WITTCHEN was also appreciated for clear communication of its terms of sale.
